Business Analytics Training Course

Business users at L’Oréal China are not aware of the needs and working methods of the Data Factory team when analyzing and creating models from data. There is a lot of wasted energy and lack of collaboration which means that the relationship between business users and the Data Factory team needs to be rethought.

Our Achievements

  • The training developed by Astrakhan is initially designed to last three days: 2 days for Business Analytics and 1 day for Data Visualization.

  • Due to the pandemic and the distance, the training courses at L’Oréal are now only held remotely. Astrakhan’s training course is therefore revised to take place over a shorter period. The chosen format is 3 sessions of 3 hours.

  • A re-engineering phase allows to compress the initial content, while adapting it. The examples initially built for Tableau Software are revised to be adapted to the Asian and Chinese context, as well as focused on the Data Visualization tools used by L’Oréal (Power BI).

  • The training is given in mid-September 2020 in English via Teams, to a group of about 15 employees.
