Immersive technologies have been around for a few years, but they are struggling to establish themselves in companies outside of a few well-identified use cases. Immersive technologies are now experiencing a boom that is not only due to the health context. The maturity of the hardware, the search for new workplace ergonomics, and the growing number of XR engineers being trained in XR show that the maturity of immersive technologies is becoming clearer.

The training aims to raise the participants’ awareness of this subject, by reviewing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) through concrete examples, and, in particular, through the UpRooM application, developed by Astrakhan for Hololens 2.0. We will also review technologies, languages, and market players to provide participants with a comprehensive overview.
