Architecture and Integration
Architecture is the art and science of designing an information system and handle the multiple dependencies between the elements of it. It helps mastering the complexity of an IS, reduce its cost and keep its evolutivity. It is an essential key in information system management today and in Digital Leadership. At the level of a full information system, this activity is known as Enterprise Architecture, at the level of a software design it is called Solution Architecture. We will go through both of them during these workshop series.
AVAILABLE WORKSHOPS
a. Introduction to Enterprise Architecture (2xHD)
b. Introduction to Solution Architecture (2xHD)
c. API Management (Kong) and streaming integration (Kafka / Nifi) (2xHD)
Enterprise Architecture Workshop :
- We will go through Data, Service and Process Modelling,
- We will also see how we can design a map of the information system starting from an existing template
Solution Architecture Workshop :
- We will design a first draft of the target software solution that was decided during the first workshops.
A third session of these series will be dedicated to API Management (with the Kong Open Source software) and Streaming Integration (with Kafka or Nifi), to understand how to run an application with existing data and services, and promote the reuse of assets at the Information System level.
New Architecture series will be delivered during the course of the full workshop series to update the designed models and regularly practice architecture.
Having an IT team aware and experienced on architecture is definitely a must: architects are hard to find in Digital & IT skills today.
