How to Play

Develop a Business Unit of 10 people working for a client on a project

Expand your business unit to reach 18 employees working for one client but on two big projects

Your company must now carry out 5 small projects for 3 additional clients, at the same time as the 2 previous ones, without changing the people available.

Change your business unit so that it relies on a common platform for all projects (always doing all 5 projects), with no limitation of available people.

Synthesis discussion on multi-disciplinary teams, skills sharing, the key role of BAs and Architects in bringing agility to scale, etc.

Educational Conclusion

The exercise does not have a clearly defined result in terms of winners and losers. When players understand how to develop their organization as a value network, everyone wins!
